Hi!

I’m Iesha, thanks for coming to my site and having a look around.

I’m a writer and charity strategist. These days I work for a charity funder whose aim is to reduce youth violence. I was previously an assistant headteacher in schools in London and Hertfordshire and I have 14 years’ experience as a maths teacher. The majority of my teaching career was spent in schools serving disadvantaged communities. If you want to know more about me professionally take a look at my official bio.

Subscribe to my blog updates. I write about my professional and personal expertise which includes society, education, nature and the outdoors and anything else that I find interesting at the time. I’d love to say I write weekly but, to be honest, the pandemic has made my writing routine more sporadic.

When you subscribe I’ll send you a free copy of my 9 lessons for unexpected leaders pdf which I’m told is a handy reminder to put up in your office.

Fill out the form below and enjoy the rest of your day.
